After spending his high-school years in Madrid, Spain, Mark was a modern day nomad at heart. He acquired a B.A. in Film/T.V. production from San Jose State University and quickly bolted back overseas to live in Italy, France and Africa. Finding work as a T.V. segment director/videographer, Mark traveled extensively and discovered a profound respect for other cultures and their traditions. The early 90's led Mark to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career and more work as a videographer. Never being one to wait for good fortune, Mark started his film directorial debut by making the award winning short film: Paco's Two Bean Double Frozen Margarita in 2000.
In 2004 Mark decided to bite the bullet and write, produce, shoot, edit and direct his own feature film with only $10,000 in hand, he succeeded and landed worldwide distribution. In 2007, Mark relocated to southern New Mexico where he landed a re-occurring role on The CW's: EASY MONEY as Pastor Jeff and other supporting roles on the hit TV series IN PLAIN SIGHT and LONGMIRE. His Digital Filmmaking students are multiple time 1st place award winners in NM statewide video competitions.
Mark has also been seen on major networks and PBS all over New Mexico, El Paso and Eastern Nevada on his New Mexico travelogue show Enchantments (13 episodes and counting), which he created, writes, produces, directs, edits and Hosts! He is also currently working on bringing large scale film productions to Southern NM by getting a very unique film studio and back lot built plus he is currently writing a new feature film and a very poignant TV pilot based around "The Borderlands".
